The early bird-er might get the worm\, but you can birdwatch at any hour. Join birding expert Rob Jett and a small group of fellow members to roam the grounds while hearing and seeing the many feathered friends of Green-Wood.  \n\n\n\nWinter at Green-Wood brings plenty of opportunities for birdwatching\, with fascinating species to spot even in the colder months. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPrice: $15 for members\, $20 for non-member guests \n\n\n\n\nGet Tickets\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn-Person Event(see details below)\n\n\n\n\n\nFor some migratory birds\, Brooklyn serves as their warm-weather getaway during winter. Explore the Cemetery and keep an eye out for overwintering waterfowl\, nuthatches\, woodpeckers\, sparrows\, finches\, and other birds that choose to stick around for the season. By March\, we’ll see some of the early northbound birds beginning to trickle back into the area. \n\n\n\nGreen-Wood members can click the Get Tickets button above and enter the member password to buy tickets. Attendees will be checked in by name.\n\n\n\nWhere To Go: Check-in takes place at the Gothic Arch near the Main Entrance at Fifth Avenue and 25th Street (500 25th Street).\n\n\n\nAccessibility & Safety: Walking tour routes cover hilly\, grassy\, and uneven terrain. This tour is not accessible for those using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and may be difficult for those with balance or other mobility issues. There is no place to sit down during the tour. For other disability-related accommodations\, contact us at 718-210-3080\, ext. 1 or events@green-wood.com. This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10. We strongly encourage attendees to wear suitable footwear.\n\n\n\nA Little More About Safety: Unless there is a medical emergency\, it may be difficult to easily exit during the tour.
